What is The Burn In Model?

Thin gold line

The Burn In Model is an evidence-informed, conceptually grounded, and practice-oriented framework that was developed through a layered and iterative process.

It integrates established occupational therapy theory, behavioral science, narrative and mapping literature reviews, lived experience, and international practitioner input. The model continues to evolve through ongoing research, collaboration, and real-world application across settings and countries.

We are committed to transparency, critical reflection, and responsible development as this work grows.
