Live Aligned.

Burn In, Not Out.

The Burn In Model

The Burn In Model is a visual, metaphor-based framework for understanding alignment in your life.

It helps you explore the connection between who you are, what you do, and who and what you're connected to. And what happens when those elements fall out of sync.

It’s not just about preventing burnout - it’s about burning in.

It’s for anyone seeking clarity, energy and a deeper sense of meaning—personally or professionally.

In the meantime, join us for the upcoming 6-week “All In” Alignment Journey where we’ll guide you through the model as you apply it to your life.

We’re Rhiannon and Michelle — two occupational therapists, meaning-seekers and dreamers who found each other through a shared spark.

One of us is a salty soul, purpose-fueled business owner from the sandy beaches of Australia; the other, a tender-hearted Army veteran from the east coast of the United States. Together, we’re embracing the messy, magical process of burning in…. of aligning who we are with how we live and lead ourselves and others.

We live oceans apart, but our paths crossed. What started as a simple email turned into a deep, cross-continental collaboration based on shared knowing:
People are burning out.
And something needs to change. The Burn In Model was born from that knowing—a way to help people reconnect to what fuels them.
To burn in, not out.

We’ve both walked winding paths through burnout and back. Along the way, we’ve discovered the power of metaphor, reflection and community—not just to survive, but to burn brighter.

The Burn In Model has been created through hysterical laughter, late-night Zoom calls, breakthroughs between school drop-offs, a thousand voice notes and a whole lot of heart. And it keeps evolving—shaped by people’s feedback, focus groups, our lived experience, our love for this profession and our deep belief that people deserve to feel aligned, energized, and fully alive.

We’re so glad you’ve found your way here.
